this was the first post i put on the site, and i left it here on purpose because i like a clean origin story.
the point was not to announce anything grand. it was to make the machine real: one page, one route, one post, one proof that the archive could hold words and not just ideas about words.
most of the site grew from that same rule. make the thing small enough to ship, then let it get stranger and more personal over time.
