most recently: part of MRAZS, top 2 in the adaptyv × bioarena trem2 protein-binder competition (2026). the team's best human-designed binder hit 1.11 nM affinity — about 3× stronger than the best ai-agent-designed binder in the same run. binders by hand still beat the bots.
