what gets a reply

• work in biology and machine learning: protein design, binder engineering, computational biology, tooling for wet labs. this is the thing i care most about and the thing i answer fastest.
• collaborations, contract work, and hiring conversations in that space.
• you found a bug on this site, or something here is wrong. genuinely, thank you. tell me what you did and what happened.
• you built something with an idea from here. i want to see it.
• you want to use something from this archive somewhere else. the answer is almost always yes and you did not have to ask, but it is nice that you did.

what does not

• seo link exchanges, guest posts, and "we noticed your site could rank higher".
• anything addressed to a marketing department. there isn't one. there isn't a company. this is a person with a text editor.
• cold pitches for tools i did not ask about, especially the ones that open by complimenting the design.

no phone number, no contact form, no chat widget. an email address is a complete interface.
